How to get to the congress venue (FCT-NOVA)

From Lisbon (Oriente Train Station)

The “Oriente” train station has an underground metro station. The Red Line (Aeroporto – S. Sebastião) takes you downtown in 20 minutes.

  1. From Station “S. Sebastião”, you can take a brief walk to “Praça de Espanha” and take bus 3711 (Sete Rios-Monte da Caparica FCT Rotunda). Only weekdays.

  2. From the Station “Alameda”, you can take a brief walk to “Roma-Areeiro” train station and take the Fertagus train (Lisboa-Fogueteiro/Coina/Setúbal) to Pragal. Once in Pragal Station, you can take the tram to” Universidade”, hopping off on its terminus (located near one of the campus entrances).

From Lisbon (Sta. Apolónia Train Station)

The “Sta. Apolónia” train station has an underground metro station. The Blue Line (Sta. Apolónia – Amadora) takes you downtown in 5 minutes.

  1. From the “Baixa-Chiado” Station, you can take the Green Line (Telheiras-Cais do Sodré). Once in “Cais do Sodré”, you can find the “Cais do Sodré” ferry station. Here you can take a ferryboat to “Cacilhas”. Once in Cacilhas, you take a tram (MTS) to “Universidade”, hopping off on its terminus (located near one of the campus entrances).

  2. From the Station “Jardim Zoológico”, you can find the “Sete Rios” train station and take the Fertagus train (Lisboa-Fogueteiro/Coina/Setúbal) to Pragal. Once in Pragal Station, you can take the tram to” Universidade”, hopping off on its terminus (located near one of the campus entrances).

  3. From the Station “Jardim Zoológico”, you can take a brief walk to “Sete Rios” bus station and take bus 3711 (Sete Rios-Monte da Caparica FCT Rotunda). Only weekdays.

From Lisbon (Entrecampos Train Station)

In the “Entrecampos” train station, you can take the Fertagus train (Lisboa-Fogueteiro/Coina/Setúbal) to Pragal. Once in Pragal Station, you can take the tram to” Universidade”, hopping off on its terminus (located near one of the campus entrances).


From Caparica (Tryp Hotel)

From the TRYP Lisboa Caparica Mar Hotel, you can walk to the bus stop in Av Dr Aresta Branco 13 and take the 3022 bus (Costa Caparica – Cacilhas). You should exit the bus in Monte Caparica (FCT) Rotunda.
